| I got an invitation from Blizz over a week ago to try WoW again for free for 7 days. So I figure I'll hop on and play a little bit and get bored because it's still the same ol' stuff. To my surprise the game is a blast again! Who would've known that things would change so much when you take a 3 year hiatus?
I didn't think I would get addicted again so easily, but the other day, as I was driving, I realized I had correlated the six gears in my car, to the six runes on my DK. I was shifting from blood 2 to frost 1! When I realized what I was thinking I wanted to punch myself! About 20 minutes later, I was accelerating and I asked myself "I wonder what kind of talent spec would give me more power?" At this point I knew I was hooked again.
So now my 7 day trial is up tonight. I've already ordered WotLK and will be re-instating my account. It's nice to be back! I've already talked with a few of you in game and it was good to see the old crew again. Now I'm trying to find out where everyone else is, whether you're not playing anymore or are in a different guild/server. It'd be nice to hear from everyone. How are you all doing? |

| OMG.. not Aeka. I dumped the game a more than a year ago now, I guess, haven't been back. I got the same email but wasn't really tempted at all. |

| Ultim and Lof! Lof, what could it hurt? It's a free trial! How about I send you a resurrection scroll and if you just happen to pay for 2 months, I'll get a month free? :D Seriously though, it'd be great to see you guys again in game, if even only for a week. |

| I gave it to the cute girl that was here. Her ex boyfriend apparently got mad and told on her so the account was banned. They made it such a royal pain in the ass to unban accounts I didn't bother. |

I gave it to the cute girl that was here. Her ex boyfriend apparently got mad and told on her so the account was banned. They made it such a royal pain in the ass to unban accounts I didn't bother.
Did anyone ever actually meet this "girl" who had only a couple of odd photos and was conveniently deaf so she couldn't be on vent? |

Hmmm, I never got any free 7 day trial email. I left back in July, should be long enough to generate one. Crap, maybe my cancelation never took and I have been paying for the damn account this whole time? ROFL, I guess I better check that out.
Not playing anything but MW2 atm. Left SWG again finally, just not enough folks on Radiant and I didn't feel like paying to switch servers....I think they have 2 or 3 populated servers left, that is it. Shame it's such a good game now.
Really no desire to come back into WOW but I guess if no other MMO comes along and I get really bored I can fire it back up. IF it's like before someone can always use a healer..........

Location: Santa Cruz, Ca | Digger, we raid maybe 2 nights a week, loots are random and folks usually pass if it's a bigger upgrade to someone else. We also limit it to one epic upgrade per run, IE no rolling for another upgrade if someone else hasn't one an upgrade yet that night.
Other than that we play alts, run heroics, do pvp battle grounds or just shoot the shit.
I've no desire to get back into the old raiding schedule, I'm happy being retired.
That said, folks always have a home here if they are bored or missing the WoW madness.
So far it's Carrie, I Seraphene, Samurai, Dildar, Wulfbain, Siera"Michelle" Sean "a nice guy who's a friend of Ser'a and Sam" Fing, a cpl guys you don't know but we used to work with and obviously most recently Aeka. Even Korcky is back for 7 days. Folks that are still guilded and pop in from time to time, Alcy and Kaienta. Ohh and Medawky just reguilded again, for how long, lol who knows. |

Depends if I can sync my schedule better, I need more Verndari and less Stonemaul. Love you guys, absolutely hate the server.
In fact here is a blurb from an article I wrote
This Pacific Time zone PvP server is the virtual embodiment of Kim Jong Il. Seriously. Chest thumping bravado with nothing to back it up, this large population server has fairly weak progression on both sides, however horde tends to be overall better progressed. The server that never grew out of barrens chat features a sophomoric player base that is as bad in chat as it is in a PUG. Sadly all the negative WoW player stereotypes are on full display here and overshadow the decent players that reside here. |

We bar-b-q often, hit the warf or watch cheesy SyFy movies. We play crazy geared alts or roll our eyes to Fings guild chat spam of "OMG I'm So great!" lol
More power to ya man, I've had enough of the drama and the bs for a game. I'd rather play DnD or Magic than full on raid again. At least then if my friends piss me off I can go whack up on the head, you can't do that in raids. |
