Location: Santa Cruz, Ca | One was losing my wizard under the river in permafrost, I couldn't find the small air hole and died, going back into near total blackness I died several more times. I finally went and killed tons of willow wisp to get a greater lightstone so I could find my main corpse, loot it the gate before I drowned again. |

Location: Albany, GA | One weekend, my boyfriend went out of town and I was looking forward to uninterrupted gaming (he was always bugging me to stop playing!). I actually do not remember all the details, but I found myself in the Freeport area (I started in Qeynos). I ended up in that dungeon in WC-the undead one...I honestly can not recall the name of it. But, I was there with my bard buddy I think. There was this higher level warrior hanging around and while he was there, all was well. But, after he left, it started overwhelming us. I swear I spent all night trying to recover the corpse that was on the 3rd floor.
I think that it was one time I was seriously considering quitting the game.
Another bad time I recall was when I met a paaldin friend of mine (Faeanor if anyone knows/remembers him). He messaged me because he was in "The Divine Light" and he thought me in the guild since my name started with "The". Well, I had a lot of fun with him-until we went to unrest. He shined...and I could barely turn around because my computer sucked and it was crowded (before there were any expansions and it was still new so everyone was there!). I lost one of my favorite buddies that time-of course that's because I have anger problems and stopped talking to him!
I am not sure how you guys can play this game again. I logged on hmm a few months ago and I really hated it. I found a few friends from the glory days still there...joined their guild and raided a few times. One of the guildies wanted to give me plat to outfit me because my gear, from planes of power era, was outdated. I really had a lot of fun before wow was released during the lost dungeons of norrath instances with my then pally boyfriend and Fing-but after playing wow, EQ is just tedious. I think they did pretty well fixing up EQ2...but EQ is still just tedious. Try making a new character-it is much harder to start and you die alot-especially compared to wow.
